However, he's played well since getting back on the floor, averaging 27.7 points, 7.3 steals, 3.7 assists, and 1.3 steals. But Philly will at least make the Play-In, so Embiid will get a night off to rest before likely suiting up on Tuesday against the Pistons. As a result, Mo Bamba, averaging 6.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in 16 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, has value potential for DFS participants.

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) is considered probable for Saturday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. The 28-year-old has played through a right foot strain and has not been limited by the injury. He continues to see his regular minutes as a starter, taking on more responsibility since Jamal Murray (knee) has been sidelined. Gordon can typically be relied on to fill the stat sheet in various ways on both sides of the ball. He has scored at least 18 points in two straight games while contributing to the rebound and assist columns. In addition, he has recorded a steal in three consecutive contests.

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (wrist) will miss a second consecutive contest on Friday against Toronto. The team has downgraded him from doubtful to out. Pat Connaughton started in Beverley's place on Wednesday against Memphis, but Damian Lillard (groin) is back in the lineup on Friday, meaning Connaughton will only have minimal fantasy value. Beverley's next chance to return comes on Sunday versus the Knicks.

Philadelphia could be very shorthanded on Saturday, with Tyrese Maxey (hip), Tobias Harris (knee), and Mo Bamba (illness) also carrying questionable tags.

After two months of rehabilitation to attempt a return, New York Knicks forward Julius Randle (shoulder) will undergo season-ending right shoulder surgery. Randle dislocated his shoulder on Jan. 27, and surgery became inevitable after two specialists warned of possible permanent damage if he returned to play before a procedure. Although the 29-year-old All-Star wasn't expected to be a factor in fantasy leagues down the stretch, it's a crushing blow to the 44-31 Knicks' chances of making a deep postseason run. Randle's season ends with averages of 24.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.7 three-pointers in 35.4 minutes per game over 46 appearances for New York. Josh Hart has filled in admirably and should continue being treated as a must-start option in his absence, averaging 11.5 points, 10.9 boards, 6.0 dimes, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 threes in 41.0 minutes across 29 games since Randle went down.

He'll presumably increase his workload on Thursday in Miami after logging 29 minutes against the Thunder, so it shouldn't take him long to return to form.

New Orleans Pelicans center Cody Zeller (face) is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Orlando Magic. The last time he played was March 22nd, when he registered one point and two rebounds in just three minutes. His minutes will remain limited as he plays behind Jonas Valanciunas. Zeller isn't a fantasy contributor in fantasy hoops due to his lack of time he gets on the court when healthy.
